Post-Race Events

Tabulation of the Lap Counting sheets.

The top 4 runners pose with Rock Lavoie of Super Sagamie, the major sponsor of the race:  Roger Langevin 4th, Luc Gagnon 2nd, Suzanne Gagnon 1st and Michel Voyer 3rd.

The last update of the Leader board - the elasped time was actually about 10:45 (not 8 hrs) when the distances were recorded.
At the finish the female positions stayed the same.  Among the men, Drolet and I passed A(ndre) Coul(ombe) for 4th and 5th place.

Breakfast

The morning after the race, Sherry and I had breakfast with the Caplette Twins of Anjou.  Sherry was flattered when one of the patrons of the restaurant came to our table and asked her if she was Suzanne Gagnon!

On our drive back home to Toronto we stopped for lunch at La Belle Province fast food restaurant in Berthierville.  We tried the famous Quebec specialty, poutine, made of fries and cheese curds covered with gravy.  I can't say that I  acquired a taste for this dish - it was Cholesterol City!
